Special Prompt #2 5G

The smell of blood went through the entrance of my nose. The thought of losing this phenomenal battle echoed through my mind. The minute I reached for my sword it striked. This horrible, blood covered, winged beast dropped blood all over my strawberry blonde, straight hair. Covering my mouth with this dark red liquid. squeezing my way through the dragon’s feet I flipped and fell with a heavy thud. reaching to my sword with a low breath. I grabbed it, reaching out to the dragon’s heart with the sharp point of the sword. I tried to jump and stab it but missed…

Special Prompt #2 5B

Green and pink lights danced across the blue sky, twirling around like a dolphin gliding through the water. The grass, short and stubby, felt like thin strips of fabric on her hands. It was phenomenal, the reflection of blurred colour in her bright blue eyes. As she laid down she saw a figure. A silhouette of a rigged old man. She whipped her head around backing herself slowly down the hill, he kept walking, approaching her with every step.

She gasped standing up immediately in her bedroom, the same man appeared at her door with a smile on his face.

Week #40 5G

A cold sweat covered my face… I see his silhouette twisting and screaming as he falls… I woke up abruptly with a jolt. Another day all over again. I did the same routine I do everyday. Get out of bed and think the thoughts I always do, next time I will save him, even though I know it isn’t true. See, here’s the deal. Ever since I lost my son, I have been repeating the same day. I’ve never saved him. He always goes off the edge, tumbling, screaming. I wake up everyday with hope though and today feels different…

Week #40 5W

Next time I will try my best and not give up. I couldn’t even think about making it to the end. I didn’t even have the confidence to believe that I would succeed. I guess I just gave up. The crowd stares as I’m almost finished. I stopped, not knowing what to do. How embarrassing… I felt like I was going to faint… 3km. I ran out of breath. I look behind me and see a stampede of girls overlapping me. I wasn’t thinking straight.. next time I will make it to the end!

Week #40 5B

The Breakdown

As the city erupted in sirens, screaming and falling buildings, everyone rushed grabbing what they could and fleeing the city. Cars useless, the earthquake becoming worse by the second. People searching for shelter as everyone knew we were doomed whilst they heard the sound of the bridge falling! Everyone went to a boat begging the owners to take them. Luckily for me, I owned one. I saw the crowd of people begging for me to let them on as the last boat and I left the harbour. Halfway out and then the whole city had fallen, nothing left but rubble… next time I will help.
